A Surgical Sutures is braided synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a homopolymer of glycolic acid. The PGA surgical suture is provided coated with polycaprolactone+ calcium stearate. Suture is available undyed or dyed (violet). PGA is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular and neutrological procedures. The absorption of the suture is essentially complete
P.G.A Surgical Sutures is braided synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a homopolymer of glycolic acid. The PGA surgical suture is provided coated with polycaprolactone+ calcium stearate. Suture is available undyed or dyed (violet).
PGA is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular and neutrological procedures.
The absorption of the suture is essentially complete between 60 and 90 days.
