LUVERNE SlimGrip running boards combine rugged style and durable construction to be the perfect truck side steps. They feature powder-coated aluminum construction, expanded metal treads, a sleek profile and angular end caps. They are also equipped with the VersaTrac system for easy, no-drill installation. Whether you use your truck for hard work, offroad fun or a little of both, SlimGrip running boards are up to the task. They are made with 5052 aluminum alloy to be strong, lightweight and highly resistant to corrosion. They are also coated in a textured black powder coat finish that not only enhances corrosion resistance but also helps hide minor scratches, scuffs and grime. For maximum traction on the trail or on the jobsite, each SlimGrip running board is built with expanded metal treads. These non-skid treads offer fleet-approved safety when entering or exiting your truck, and their metal design makes them highly durable. The open treads also allow dirt and snow to pass through, keeping the inside of your vehicle clean. In addition to safety, these aluminum running boards are also constructed to add an aggressive look to your truck. They feature a narrowed width for a sleeker look compared to our Grip Step running boards, and the hardened ABS end caps are angled for a rugged finish. SlimGrip running boards are also fast and easy to install. They mount with the VersaTrac system, using a universal channel and vehicle-specific brackets for a custom fit. Each set installs with no drilling required, and the brackets allow any set of running boards or side steps with the VersaTrac system to be installed on the vehicle without any additional brackets or hardware. This makes installation simple and allows for more customization options. This set of custom running boards fits specific years of the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 HD or 3500 HD extended cab (see application info to verify fitment).

Cheaply made but functional

Pros: The headrest is highly adjustable. Even if you're tall you'll likely be able to tilt it so that you can rest your head on it while reclining. The instructions for putting it together are easy to follow. It's perfectly serviceable as a desk chair with no glaring defects. The mesh material keeps your body cool and dry even when sitting in it all day. Cons It's obviously very lightweight and cheaply made. This does make the chair easier to move, but this doesn't really feel like a $180 chair at all. More like a $120 or even $100 chair. The chair back is attached to the chair seat by a plastic bracket. Nearly every desk chair I've had in the past has had their back attached to the bottom with a metal bracket, and even those start to bend out of shape after a year or so. While reclining a good portion of your weight will be resting on this plastic bracket, and I simply cannot see this cheap plastic lasting for very long supporting anyone's body weight over a long period of time. If you buy this chair, make sure to get the warranty. The armrests are closer together than on most chairs, which creates a claustrophobic feeling of being squeezed by them. You get used to it eventually, and you can just put the armrests up if you want to, but a way to adjust the armrest width would have been nice. The lumbar support doesn't really do anything at all. It only presses against my back at the most intense setting, and even then not very much. There is no incremental recline setting. Either you are fully reclined, or sitting fully upright. Luckily the full recline setting is about perfect for me, but for a $180 chair you'd expect a bit more settings here.

Was also super simple to put together although I did have to crank on the screws that attach the back of the arm rest to the back of the chair. If you’re looking for a place to plant your butt for 8 hours, this is your chair.

Very comfortable with good lower-back support
Most comfortable, well made, easy assembly office-gaming chair (very pleased)! *I suggest, HOLD-OFF popping the seat onto the upper-cylinder until AFTER assembling the back-rest onto the seat/arm-seat with back-rest as a unit...can then be popped onto the upper gas-cylinder(Much more stable than fighting with chair freely rolling and turning) while attempting to aligning the holes assembling the back-rest. Afterwards the seat with back-rest assembled can easily be popped onto to the upper-end of the gas-cylinder and we are good to go! * do pay attention to using the correct bubble-packed bolts for each assembly, as directed * all the holes align -up very precisely... so if screwing in the bolt(s) and after a couple-turns it gets hard-to-turn, we are 'cross-threading the bolt into the threaded hole...so back-out and realign the bolt as so it threads in very easy. * the bubble-pack of bolts are clearly labeled so as we easily know which ones go where. *0ne bubble-packet even includes a spare group just in case we lost one (like out in the grass-lawn)? * Included a T-handle alien-head wrench (all needed for total assembly) very nice for having around if any re-tightening needed. all speaks Quality! >>> Been using about a month now...And I REALLY like this office gaming chair _ very comfortable cushioned well and excellent lower-back support _ the faux-leather seems to be more thick and durable and stitching is NOT ripping-out (as my previous & more expensive chair had done with it's paper-thin faux leather) _ easy assembled chair seems very sturdy and solid, (yet light weight), in moving around, (not some wobbly contraption as my previous more expensive chair). _ a strong Five-Star rating!
