François Chidaine ' Gamay Touraine 2023 'Het domein is in 1989 opgericht door Franois met enkele hectares in Montlouis sur Loire. Hij benadert de specifieke wijngaarden als eigen en unieke terroirs en was al vroeg overtuigd van de magie en rijkheid. De certificering voor biologische wijnbouw volgt al snel in 1992 en voor biodynamie in 1999. Tegenwoordig omvat het domein 37 ha wijngaarden met 20 ha Chenin Blanc in Montlouis sur Loire, 10 ha chenin blanc in Vouvray en de overige 7 ha zijn

Lekker bij: Confit van eend met kersen-portsaus, ravioli met geroosterde biet, ricotta en walnoot, pulled chicken tacos met granaatappel-yoghurt

Leuk weetje: François Chidaine staat eigenlijk vooral bekend staat om zijn Chenin Blanc-wijnen, hij is pas later bewust begonnen te werken met Gamay omdat hij dat als een ondergewaardeerde druif zag in de Loire
