Ondanks de hitte wordt dit gebied als koel aangemerkt dankzij de ligging op 1100 meter hoogte. Pionier François Lurton stichtte in de Uco-vallei zijn Bodega Piedra Negra. Op basis van zijn expertise die hij over de hele wereld heeft opgedaan, introduceerde Lurton onmiddellijk milieuvriendelijke wijnbouw. Terroir en klimaat bleken zeer geschikt voor de druivensoort Tokay (een andere naam voor de Hongaarse furmint) die indeze Gran Lurton wordt aangevuld met sauvignon blanc. Beide soorten druivenstokken zijn 20 jaar oud en de opbrengst blijft beperkt tot 40 hl/ha wat bijdraagt aan de hoge kwaliteit. De most gist op fust en er vindt daarna geen malolactische gisting plaats. Na de rijping op zijn lie volgt een lagering op Franse vaten die deels nieuw en deels tweede jaars zijn. James Suckling en Master of WIne Tim Atkin beoordeelden de wijn met respectievelijk 95 en 96 punten. Proefnotities: Het bouquet pleziert met frisse aroma's van limoen, kruiden, tonen van vanille en hazelnoten en wordt omlijst met een zweempje hout. A Great Filter (Installed on a 2014 Acura RDX)
I installed this on a 2015 Acura RDX and it has been a fine replacement for the original air filter. The filter offers a good value and resembles the filter that it replaced and seems to be an equivalent replacement in every way. It fit into the housing perfectly and was just as easy to replace as the original filter was. The white color of the filter also makes it easy to see if an excess of dirt has built up on the filter.
I'd recommend this filter. The materials are good, it offers equivalent functionality, and great value for the money.

Excellent quality and price
The picture above is of two different brand engine air filters. One is a Fram Extra Guard and the other is the KAX filter, which costs half as much. Can you tell which one is the cheaper KAX filter? There may be a difference in material that is not visible, but they feel and look the same. It seems like a safe bet to try out the KAX and see how well it performs/lasts.

Just Right
Fits just right. The paper filter material seems to be the same quality as the brand name filter I took out with the only percievable difference is price and packaging. One nice thing here is that once taken out of the box, the filter is wrapped in light weight plastic so you don't get the new filter dirty when taking out the old one. Just unwrap it prior to installation for a clean install. Hope this helps.

Same Quality, Cheaper Price!
Fits exactly as it should (2018 Acura RDX) and performs as well as any other brand I've used over the years. Construction and material quality appear as good as (or better) than any other off-the-shelf brand. I have no qualms about using this brand in the future and saving money doing so, compared to other brands.
