The French manufacturer Collision Devices has a soft spot for cool, wacky effect pedals. The Nocturnal pedal is called Ambient Machine by Collision Devices – and that is exactly what it is. With Shimmer Reverb, Modulation Delay, and Dynamic Tremolo, you can create incredible ambient pads and rhythmic patterns – a sonic wonderland for electronic and film music freaks. The Shimmer Reverb section can be frozen indefinitely by holding down the footswitch and fades when the switch is released. Modulation Delay and Dynamic Tremolo (tremolo speed can be controlled by velocity) can be precisely activated in Mementary mode using the footswitch.
