De TOPEAK Solo fietshouder is een stevige, minimalistische vaste muurbeugel ontworpen om een fiets aan de bovenbuis op te hangen. In tegenstelling tot gewone haken kun je je fiets parallel aan de muur ophangen, waardoor je fiets een designelement wordt in je interieur.

Hij is gemaakt van hoogwaardig aluminium en heeft verstelbare armen waarmee je de afstand tot de muur kunt aanpassen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je stuur de muur niet raakt, zelfs niet bij racefietsen of stadsfietsen met brede hangers. Het is de perfecte oplossing voor moderne flats of nette garages.

Zal mijn stuur de muur raken? Het rek biedt voldoende ruimte voor de meeste racefietsen. Voor mountainbikes met een zeer breed stuur (meer dan 760 mm) raden we aan om de afstand tussen het frame en het uiteinde van het stuur te meten voor de installatie.

Kan het op een gipsplaatwand worden geïnstalleerd? Het is mogelijk, maar het is essentieel om specifieke technische pluggen te gebruiken (Molly-type) of, idealiter, om de beugel rechtstreeks in een houten staander of dragende muur (baksteen, beton) te bevestigen om het vrijdragende gewicht te ondersteunen.

Is het compatibel met carbon frames? Ja, absoluut. De zachte rubberen coating verdeelt de druk zonder het carbon te beschadigen. Zorg er alleen voor dat de bovenbuis van je fiets ontworpen is om het gewicht van de fiets te dragen (wat bij 99% van de modellen het geval is).

I have received this chair just today and would like to give my first impressions of it. Height is super adjustable as well as the foot rest. My desk is very tall (~34 inches vs standard ~29 inches) and does not suit a standard height chair. This chair's height is enough to sit comfortably at mybut also still having adjustment to be even higher. Lumbar support is a manual adjustment that can be adjusted by sliding the lumbar piece up or down and it seems it can be tiled as well. No reclining feature or slight backrest tilt adjustment. I'm used to my chairs reclining so it feels a little awkward siting in a flat base and straight backrest. I feel like I'm sitting too forward or leaning forward slightly but is probably something I can get use to. Easy to put together and feels very sturdy. Plastic parts of chair are made from a really sturdy plastic, like playhouse plastic materials. Wheels roll around carpet easily. Mesh seems to be a strong material, though the mesh feels kind itchy on bare skin. Overall, I think this is a good chair to get if you're needing a tall chair for a good value and can sacrifice no backrest tilt.

The chair comes in numerous luscious colors, so take your pick! It is very sturdy, has good lumbar support, and the seat and seat back are very comfortable. And the arms flip up, which was an absolute must when I was shopping for this chair. I got it on sale, too -- $109.00 -- and I'm delighted with this purchase.
