This surprised me in the best way. This is not a treatment product, and it’s important to set that expectation upfront. This is a barrier-supporting, smoothing balm, and when you use it for what it is, it performs exceptionally well. The texture is where it really wins. It’s a solid balm stick, but it glides effortlessly without dragging or pulling on the skin, which is critical for more delicate, mature areas. It melts just enough on contact and leaves behind a smooth, lightweight, conditioned finish that feels nourishing without being greasy or heavy. From a formulation standpoint, this is built around silicones and emollients that give an immediate soft-focus effect, combined with oils and butters that help reinforce the moisture barrier. There’s also adenosine for long-term wrinkle support and collagen extract for conditioning, though this is not going to rebuild collagen or act like a corrective serum. What it does do extremely well is improve the appearance of the skin instantly. It softens fine lines, reduces that dry, crepey look that can show up midday, and adds just enough slip and hydration to make the skin look healthier and more refined. Where I really love this is under makeup. It creates a smooth, hydrated base that helps foundation sit better and prevents it from catching on dry areas.
