Dopo la raccolta dell'uva, che avviene manualmente, il vino affina in parte in cemento, in parte in barrique di rovere per circa un anno. Intenso ed elegante, è il biglietto da visita di un territorio vinicolo unico.
Si abbina perfettamente con una grigliata di carni miste, o a formaggi di medio-lunga stagionatura. Servito fresco, si può accostare anche a una zuppa di pesce.
