Deze probiotische melkzuurbacteriën dragen bij aan een gezonde darmflora en bevorderen de spijsvertering. Ze zijn onmisbaar voor een goede werking van het gastro-intestinale systeem. Hierdoor worden voedingsstoffen uit de darmen beter opgenomen en wordt het immuunsysteem verbeterd.
