Op de plek waar nu Bodega Heraclio Alfaro staat, was ook een vliegveld te vinden. Deze werd in 1919 geopend door de gelijknamige Heraclio Alfaro. Zijn fascinatie voor de luchtvaart maakte plaats voor de liefde voor wijn en zo werd het landgoed omgetoverd en besloot hij Tempranillo, Garnacha en Graciano aan te planten. Nu bevindt zich hier de 110 hectare landgoed, waarvan 40 hectare beplant is met wijnstokken. De druiven worden met veel zorg handmatig geoogst en geselecteerd. Waardoor alleen de beste druiven gebruikt worden tijdens het vinificatieproces. Na het sorteren worden de druiven ontsteeld en in hun geheel zonder te pletten naar de gistingstanks gebracht. De fermentatie duurt zo’n 20 dagen bij een temperatuur van 25 graden, waarbij de extractie van fruittonen centraal staat. Zodra dit is afgerond rijpt de wijn 16 maanden in Franse eikenhouten vaten.Hoe smaakt de Heraclio Alfaro Rioja Crianza?
Met een intense rode kleur verschijnt deze Rioja Crianza in het glas. Fijne aroma’s van rood fruit, zwarte bessen aangevuld met tonen van hout en een beetje drop. Om te beginnen heeft deze rode wijn een frisse smaak, mooie structuur en vooral heerlijk evenwichtig. Vervolgens proef je de fijne en elegante tannines die pakkend zijn en de juiste complexiteit brengen. Het zet door tot een aanhoudende afdronk met een subtiele houttoon. Combineert goed bij stoofschotels, vlees, gevogelte of een kaasplankje. Maar licht gekoeld is deze Rioja Crianza ook een heerlijke frisse wijn voor in de zomer.Shipping Notes

These are absolutely adorable. Just the right size for my 20 ish lb pup.
They seem to be durable and made from good quality materials. They're soft and light so they don't make any noise or issues when he chucks them across the room while he's playing.

Fun but not for aggressive chewers

Super cute and I like that it’s like 4 toys in 1. My Yorkiepoo loved it! She wouldn’t engage with any other toys all night. Anything with a squeaker and crinkle noise, she is all over it. It’s a lot smaller than I thought, but those little donuts are just the right size to get in her mouth…and devour! She’s a fetch girl, so she had fun chasing this toy all over the house. After a day, there is only one donut left and the box. I kinda expected this since my dog’s main agenda when it comes to these kinds of toys is to how fast can I kill it so if you have an aggressive chewer like mine, it may be fun but it won’t last long.

My dog loves this toy!!!

I bought this toy for my 80 lb dog who is very rough on her toys. She Loves squeaker toys. This toy held up for about 1 years which is awesome for how aggressive my dog is with her toys. I play tug of war with her with this. The squeaker didn't last too long. Somehow she broke that pretty quickly but the toy itself was very strong and durable. It's a softer rubber like material and it's bendable and twistable. After the toy broke (it actually broke in half), I purchased her another one because of how much she enjoyed it. This newer one, the squeaker still works and have had it for about 6 months or so now. I highly recommend this toy to anyone who has a dog that is an aggressive chewer and who's hard on their toys.

She goes through things pretty quick, and I know she could have destroyed ...

My dog is a heavy chewer, and player (Doberman). I got one of these when she was a puppy and about 2 years later it broke in half from periodic chewing and tugging. It was one of her favorites and I was impressed it lasted so long so I ordered another one. She goes through things pretty quick, and I know she could have destroyed this fast as well, but it probably helped that she had other things she was supposed to chew on instead. We never encouraged her to chew this, but she loves bringing it over so we can throw it, or tug on it. Never had any issues with the squeaker (until the first one broke in half after 2 years). I would recommend it, but try to encourage it for play and not for chewing. It is flexible and durable and handles a 70lb Doberman dangling from it periodically.
