Deze prachtige klankschalen hebben een warm goudkleurige binnenzijde en een zachte, matzwarte buitenkant, behalve de bovenrand.

Ze zijn met aandacht gemaakt van koper, tin en acht edele metalen (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn).

Handgehamerde klankschalen
Elke klankschaal ontstaat door een volledig handmatig proces. Met zorg wordt het metaal in verschillende stadia gehamerd tot de juiste vorm, zodat de klank helder en afgestemd is. Eerst worden koper, tin en andere metalen gesmolten om het gewenste materiaal te vormen, zoals brons bij koper en tin. Het gesmolten metaal wordt in mallen gegoten en in schijven gesneden die in het volgende stadium verder vorm krijgen.

Vervolgens worden de metalen schijven meerdere malen roodgloeiend verhit en voorzichtig met de hand gehamerd, zodat ze hun uiteindelijke komvorm en klank krijgen. Omdat het metaal bij afkoeling broos wordt, vraagt dit proces veel ervaring en liefdevolle aandacht. Na deze grove vorm volgt een fijnere afwerking, waarbij iedere schaal nauwkeurig wordt bewerkt, geschuurd en gepolijst voor een rustgevende uitstraling en zachte klank.

So glad I came across this brand that uses actual edible material instead of the plastic nylon! All of our dogs love the nylon chew toys, but it's so bad for them to eat the little plastic bits!
