Er zijn meer dan 7.500 verschillende soorten, waarvan er maar 6 geschikt zijn voor verkoop. Sommige zijn meer dan 3 meter hoog! Afhankelijk van de temperatuur, diepte, en stroming heeft een spons een half jaar tot vijf jaar nodig om te groeien. Natuurlijke sponzen zijn heerlijk zacht voor de huid, kunnen een hoop water opnemen en dat water gemakkelijk ook weer afstaan (door er in te knijpen). De vezels van een spons lijken veel op zijde, en sponzen worden al sinds jaar en dag door mensen gebruikt om zich mee te wassen. Een synthetische spons heeft gesloten luchtbellen, terwijl bij een natuurlijke spons alle kanalen een uitgang hebben en waardoor vuil gemakkelijk ook weer wordt ondergronds. Een natuurlijke spons is dan ook zeer hygiënisch, en aanbevolen voor mensen met een allergie of met een gevoelige huid. NB: een natuurspons mag niet in aanraking komen met kokend water. Mocht het nodig zijn de spons te wassen dan kan dat in de wasmachine (in een waszak) op het wolprogramma. I'm going back to Sparkle

I used to buy Sparkle years ago , it was the only brand I bought, but I stopped because they were lower quality than names like Bounty.
Recently, before payday I ran out of paper towels and bought this pack before payday so I didn't have to shell out $25 for paper towels.
Sparkle i can honestly say has improved immensely in quality, yet still staying reasonably priced.
I noticed as soon as I opened one roll it was better quality. They are stronger, much stronger than they used to be.
No loose lint like they used to have. They are a bit stiffer in feel compared to Bounty, but still feel soft.
Cleaning is the real test for me. The old Sparkle shredded apart as soon as I wet the towel to clean.
The new Sparkle is amazing. Gotta say I like it better than Bounty. I used it to clean the bathroom and the towels held up extremely well with being water soaked, used to scrub
(friction & pulling). They don't feel thick which i like.
Reusable? I'd dunk the towel in water, scrub then rinse the towel and wipe and it held up .
Sparkle has improved and won me over!

Great value.

Excellent value for the money. They are not the most thick or soft. But they are better than some. It’s a good middle of the road towel. A very durable paper towel for various odd and end cleanups.

Decent Quality, Will Buy Again

I recently picked up the Sparkle Pick-A-Size Paper Towels (6 pack) and overall I’m pretty happy with them. The pick-a-size feature is really convenient because you can tear off a smaller sheet for quick spills instead of wasting a full one. For everyday kitchen messes—wiping counters, small spills, or drying hands—they work perfectly well.
They’re also reasonably absorbent and the rolls seem to last a decent amount of time, especially when using the smaller sheet sizes. For the price, it feels like a good value compared to some of the more expensive brands.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they’re not quite as thick or strong as the premium paper towels out there. For bigger or really messy cleanups, I sometimes end up using two sheets.
Overall though, these are a solid everyday paper towel that get the job done and help reduce waste with the pick-a-size option. I’d definitely buy them again.

Really impressed with the quality and absorption

I’ve been using these Sparkle paper towels for a few days now, mostly in my kitchen, and I’m honestly impressed.
The absorption is great, it handles spills like coffee or oil without needing a bunch of sheets. I also love the “tear-a-square” feature because you can use just what you need and avoid waste.
They’re pretty strong too, don’t fall apart easily while cleaning, which makes a big difference for tougher messes.
So far, totally worth it and I would definitely buy again.
