Zodra de stroom uitvalt levert een APC Smart-UPS onmiddellijk noodstroom aan alle aangesloten apparatuur. Doordat een APC UPS dit automatisch doet voorkom je ongewenste uitval van bijvoorbeeld een PC, server of switch. Met de gratis APC PowerChute software kun je zelfs kritieke IT hardware geautomatiseerd en gecontroleerd laten afsluiten als de accu van de ups bijna leeg is. Zo voorkom je dataverlies, downtime en fysieke schade aan hardware.

Veiligheid

Daarnaast beschermt een Smart-UPS aangesloten apparaten tegen piekspanning o.a. veroorzaakt door bliksem. Deze APC noodstroom voorziening is dan ook bij uitstek geschikt voor (klein)zakelijk gebruik.

SmartConnect

Out-of-box remote UPS monitoring, gratis inbegrepen gedurende de (eventueel verlengde) garantieperiode. Met behulp van de SmartConnect ethernet poort verbind je de Smart-UPS gemakkelijk met je netwerk en kan je hem eenvoudig op afstand monitoren via het beveiligde APC SmartConnect cloud based web portaal. Ook is de ups via deze poort te monitoren via EcoStruxure IT Expert.

PowerChute

Door de ups via een usb kabel te verbinden met maximaal één server, kan hij deze tijdens een langdurige stroomstoring automatisch van een shutdown signaal voorzien en zo als nog een harde shutdown voorkomen. Dit exacte moment is in te stellen via de gratis APC PowerChute Business Edition software.

Gebruiksgemak

D.m.v. fysieke knoppen en een LCD scherm is het mogelijk de basis functionaliteiten in te stellen en uit te lezen.

Accuduur

De te verwachten accuduur lees je eenvoudig af in de runtime grafiek, je vindt deze terug tussen de productafbeeldingen. Je kunt zo eenvoudig zien hoelang de ups bij een bepaalde belasting noodstroom levert.

Verleng de levensduur

De interne batterij cartridge (RBC6) is eenvoudig, veilig en zelfstandig door de gebruiker te vervangen. Dit zonder dat je de APC SMC1500IC of aangesloten apparatuur moet uitschakelen. Zo verleng je eenvoudig en goedkoop de levensduur van de APC Smart-UPS en blijft je apparatuur altijd online.

Garantieverlenging

De fabrieksgarantie van de SMC1500IC bedraagt 2 jaar en kun je met het APC service pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-03) upgraden naar 5 jaar.

Well designed and sturdy. Though not real wood I think they will last. It took me an hour to install the first shelf. That was all on me. I was slow measuring and placing the shelf bracket. I kept dropping the level and doing other crazy things. But the second and third shelves were easy after I learned what I was doing. Even though the screws, etc were provided I used Easy Anchor drywall anchors rated at 50 pounds. Just drill it in the sheet rock then screw the screw through the hole in the bracket until it clicks, (you have to listen). That means the ends of the plastic anchor flips out like a toggle bolt. Continue tightening the screw and that is it. Think I read somewhere that the board wobbles. These were tight as could be and no wobble. I did learn to only "tighten" just one end of the bracket sort of snug and let it hang. Then raise it to level and mark the other holes with a pencil. Don't put the other screws in until you are sure you can see the plastic anchors' holes though the bracket. Then place and tighten all the screws. The only negative I saw was that they could have sent the same or similar anchors that I have. But they didn't call me. Guess they didn't have my number.
