Omschrijving
Een van de mooiste ontdekkingen uit Spanje van de afgelopen jaren is zonder twijfel Albamar. Wijnmaker Xurxo Alba creëert hier verfijnde witte wijnen van de typische Albariño-druif met grote precisie: hij selecteert de druiven in de wijngaarden en vinifieert de percelen afzonderlijk. Het resultaat is een wijn met indrukwekkende mineraliteit, afkomstig van leisteen- en kalkrijke terroirs. 

De PAI, afkomstig uit de wijngaard Castrelo, onderging zes maanden malolactische gisting in roestvrijstalen tanks en rijpte daarna drie maanden in foudre-vaten. Het resultaat is een ronde en zachte Albariño met karakter, medium body en een droge, verfijnde afdronk.

Lekker bij
Schaal- en schelpdieren, gegrilde vis, lichte pasta’s of gewoon als verfijnd aperitief.
