De trainara komt voort uit de zandige bodem een noordoostelijke zijde van de vulkaan Etna. De geur en de smaak van deze wijn is een delicate combinatie van aromatische kruiden zoals tijm en salie, minerale toetsen gevolgd door een citrus afdronk waar je citroengras kan terugvinden. De druiven worden pas in de eerste tien dagen van oktober geplukt, vroeg in de ochtend en gekoeld verwerkt. De fermentatie gebeurd op stalen tanks. Zo bekom je deze mooie, frisse, strogele wijn.
