De Nordväl DC202 4K is het nieuwe vlaggenschip model van Nordväl. Deze opvolger van de DC102 is op enkele punten verbeterd en heeft nu onder andere een eenvoudige Bluetooth verbinding naast de aanwezige Wifi. Hij filmt nog steeds in zeer scherpe Ultra 4K resolutie aan de voorkant en de achter camera is uitgerust met een 2K sensor.

True 4K + 2K

De Nordväl DC202 4K filmt met haarscherpe 4K 3840p resolutie in 30fps en levert met name in het donker uitmuntende prestaties. De 8.0 Megapixel sensor zorgt ervoor dat alle details in de omgeving goed zichtbaar zijn. De resolutie kan ook lager worden ingesteld.

2K achter camera

De Nordväl DC202 4K wordt geleverd met 2K achter camera zodat je ook achter de auto kunt opnemen. De achter camera dient op de achterruit te worden bevestigd en met de 6 meter lange kabel te worden verbonden aan de voorste dashcam. De beelden van beide camera's worden apart op de Micro SD kaart in de voorste dashcam opgeslagen.

Ingebouwde Wifi + Bluetooth

De DC202 4K is uitgerust met Wifi én Bluetooth zodat je alle video's eenvoudig via je telefoon kunt bekijken. De Wifi heeft een bereik van zo’n 10 meter. De Nordväl App is beschikbaar voor iOS (Apple) en Android telefoons en tablets. Via de app kunnen de beelden worden bekeken en gedownload zodat de SD kaart niet meer uit de camera gehaald hoeft te worden.

Time lapse en Motion detection parkeerstand

De Nordväl DC202 4K heeft een handige automatische parkeerstand functie om de auto te beveiligen als deze geparkeerd staat. In deze Time Lapse modus neemt de camera elke seconde een foto en wordt dit later als video afgespeeld. Dit heeft een kenmerkend karakter waardoor het lijkt doorgespoeld. Door de Time Lapse modus nemen de video's niet teveel ruimte in beslag en kan dus voor een zeer lange tijd worden opgenomen zonder dat de SD kaart vol raakt.

De Nordväl DC202 4K heeft daarnaast een bewegingsdetectie parkeerstand. Hierbij staat de dashcam stand-by en begint hij een 30 seconde durende opname wanneer een beweging wordt waargenomen.

In combinatie met de Continue voeding schakelt de parkeerstand automatisch in wanneer het contact van de auto wordt uitgeschakeld en begint de normale opname weer als de auto wordt gestart.

Let op: Voor het gebruik van de automatische parkeerstand is de Nordväl PMPC03 voeding vereist (zie accessoires).

Ingebouwde GPS

De Nordväl DC202 4K heeft een ingebouwde GPS module. Door deze GPS module kan de snelheid in beeld worden weergegeven en worden bovendien de coördinaten van de plekken waarop is gefilmd bijgehouden. Hierdoor kan later met de meegeleverde software precies worden bekeken waar bepaalde opnames zijn gemaakt. 

90˚ draaibaar

De body van de DC202 4K is 90 graden draaibaar en kan daarom altijd goed op de weg worden gericht.

Losse 3M houder

De Nordväl DC202 4K wordt geleverd met een handige losse 3M houder die op de ruit wordt bevestigd met de 3M dubbelzijdige sticker. De camera kan in één schuifbeweging uit de houder worden gehaald en weer worden geplaatst. De dashcam kan hierdoor eenvoudig uit de auto worden gehaald. 

H.265 HEVC compressie

Deze Nordväl DC202 4K slaat de super scherpe videobeelden op de SD kaart met de laatste H.265 HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding). In het kort betekent dit dat de dashcam minder geheugen dan andere FullHD dashcams verbruikt terwijl de kwaliteit beter is. De bestanden zijn dus wél van de beste kwaliteit maar nemen niet teveel geheugen in beslag op de MicroSD kaart.

Ondersteuning tot 256gb

De Nordväl DC202 4K wordt geleverd als 64gb, 128gb of 256gb variant, goed voor respectievelijk zo'n 3, 6 en 12 uur aan opnames (voor + achter). Als de SD kaart vol is worden de oudste beelden automatisch overschreven voor nieuwe zodat de dashcam gewoon doorgaat met filmen.

140˚ + 135˚ wideview lens

Deze DC202 4K heeft een groothoeklens van 140 graden aan de voorkant. De achter camera heeft een kijkhoek van 135 graden.

Auto start

De Nordväl DC202 4K dashcam begint automatisch te filmen wanneer de auto wordt gestart en stopt met filmen wanneer de auto wordt uitgezet. Je hoeft er dus niet meer naar om te kijken als hij in de auto hangt. 

G-sensor

Door de ingebouwde G-sensor merkt de dashcam wanneer je een ongeluk hebt gehad. Bij een impact worden beelden automatisch beveiligd opgeslagen zodat ze niet meer verloren gaan. Ze kunnen niet meer overschreven worden en ook niet via de dashcam worden verwijderd.

Ingebouwde microfoon

De Nordväl DC202 4K heeft een ingebouwde microfoon zodat ook geluid wordt opgenomen. De microfoon kan desgewenst ook worden uitgezet.

Datum- en tijdsregistratie

De actuele tijd en datum worden altijd in beeld weergegeven zodat later kan worden aangetoond op welke tijd de betreffende opnames zijn gemaakt.

Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.

A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.
