Het domein van Hubert Brochard bestaat uit 113 hectare Sauvignon Blanc en 39 hectare Pinot Noir, verdeeld over de gemeenten Chavignol, Sancerre, Sainte-Gemme, Ménétréol, Saint-Satur, Thauvenay en Bannay met extra wijngaarden in Pouilly-Fumé. Deze diverse bedrijven bieden de Brochard's een reeks bodems om wijnen van diepte en complexiteit te bouwen. De familie houdt percelen in Les Monts Damnés en de Côte de Beaujeu, twee van de beroemdste wijngaarden van Chavignol, waar terres blanches bodems van Kimmeridgian mergel krachtige wijnen geven. Silex, of vuursteen, is geconcentreerd rond Sancerre, St-Satur, Ménétréol en Thauvenay en levert wijnen op met een sterk mineraal karakter. Ten slotte zorgen wijngaarden geplant op kalkachtige caillottesgrond voor aantrekkelijke aroma's voor de wijnen. Domaine Hubert Brochard is een van de weinige producenten van Sancerre die de meeste druiven met de hand blijven oogsten. De Sauvignon Blanc speciale cuvées, enkele wijngaarden en alle Pinot Noir worden handmatig geoogst en in kleine kratten naar de wijnmakerij vervoerd. Sancerre Classique komt uit zes verschillende gemeenten in de Sancerre-appellatie van ongeveer 40 procent kalksteen, 30 procent vuursteen en 30 procent klei. Alle percelen zijn eigendom van een landgoed en hebben een gemiddelde leeftijd van 30 jaar. Druiven worden ontsteeld en pneumatisch geperst met vinificatie volledig in roestvrijstalen tanks. De geur is echt heel uitnodigend, zeer verfijnd met mooie indrukken van vers wit fruit en witte bloemen aangevuld met citrus en mineralen. De smaak is echt een plaatje van een Sancerre, mooie fris met ronde zachte zuren. Veel nuances van appel en peer en uiteraard mineralen, citrus en viooltjes. De Hubert Bochard Sancerre Blanc is een wijn die 3 jaar bewaard kan worden maar is nu al heerlijk op dronk.Shipping Notes

Strong with high rim, makes for a great disposable plate

I really like these paper plates because the rim is so high. It’s definitely higher than many other plates that I’ve encountered. This helps food stay on the plate, no matter who is using it. The plates are super sturdy too. I can put heavy, wet foods on it (like a can of dog food) and hold it with one hand without it buckling or collapsing. The paper is thick, which helps add to the sturdy feel. The design is super basic. They are white with a simple design adorning the rim. They look like regular paper plates you might find at the grocery store.. except these are stronger.
I think they’re a great value. I love using paper plates, since I don’t have a dishwasher. I often use them for my dogs wet food. The rim is high enough to keep all of the food on the plate, despite him moving it around a bit.
The plate size is great too. They’re large enough to use as a dinner plate in my household.
I’m happier with thee plates than I expected to be. I’ll take a super functional plate with a plain design over a “pretty” plate that flops in half when you carry food on it. Function over aesthetics for the win.

These disposable paper plates are an absolute lifesaver for family barbecues and large dinner parties. Sturdy and good quality paper plates

These 140 pack paper plates are exactly what I needed for my family party. The plates are Saturday, heavy duty and easy to handle lager portion of food without bending and leaking. I used them during a family gathering and the plates help up the salad and burger throughout serving lunch.
The 10 inch size of the plates are just perfect for any occasion to serve enough food on them. Also with 140 plates I have enough to go around for several parties and I feel I still have more than enough. I like to used paper plates as the clean up afterwards is much easier also it will much more cost effective in long term.

Strong and durable.

I’m very impressed by these plates. I want to start by saying I use them mostly for my home cooking but these are strong and durable enough to be used at outdoor events and other social gathering. At 10in the plates are big enough to fit the whole meal, and with growing boys it is necessary to feed them full portions for their growing bodies. The design is nice and the plates are thick, there is also a coating on them. I prefer that because I often cook with gravies and sauces and if you want the sauces and juice to remain you need a coated disposable plate. Another positive is that because you can put bigger food portions because of the size, you also need the plates to hold up. These do exactly that. Even with heavy foods the plates remain firm and not flimsy. These are really good paper plates.
