Het wijnhuis Villa Huesgen ligt in het Duitse Traben-Trarbach en kent een zeer lange geschiedenis die teruggaat tot 1735. Vandaag de dag staat Ado Huesgen als achtste generatie alweer aan het roer. Met veel liefde voor de Moezelstreek en haar prachtige steile hellingen, werken ze met veel passie in de wijngaarden. Dit alles met oog op de toekomst, en daarom met veel respect voor de natuur. De wijnen van Villa Huesgen zijn stuk voor stuk fijn en complex, en natuurlijk wijnen om van te genieten. De druiven voor deze Villa Huesgen Weissburgunder zijn afkomstig van een wijngaard vlak bij de Moezel. Hierdoor zijn de nachten erg koel en rijpen de druiven langzaam. De bodem bestaat uit grijze leisteen en dat draagt weer bij aan de complexiteit van deze witte wijn. De druiven worden bij aankomst in de wijnmakerij volgens traditionele wijze met de voet geplet. Het verkregen sap wordt ongeveer 4 tot 6 uur in contact gehouden met de druivenschillen, om zo meer smaak en aroma’s te onttrekken. Vervolgens wordt het sap heel voorzichtig geperst. Daarna vindt de fermentatie plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks bij een koele temperatuur. Hierna blijft de wijn nog enige tijd in contact met de gistcellen. Tot slot rijpt de wijn in roestvrijstalen tanks voordat deze wordt gebotteld.De soepele en ronde Weissburgunder van Villa Huesgen
Het resulteert in een indrukwekkende wijn met aroma’s van citrus, groene appel en rijpe peren. Bij elke slok komt de frisheid duidelijk naar voren die wordt ondersteund door een goede zuurgraad. Een soepele en ronde wijn met duidelijke fruitige tonen in de smaak. Dankzij het uitgebreide vinificatieproces heeft deze wijn een aangename complexiteit en maakt dat deze wijn uitstekend in balans. Great for adults who need full liquid diets!

I don't really write very many reviews, but I am an adult with gastroparesis and these pouches are amazing!! I've been dealing with GP for over 15 years and I wish I'd known about these sooner. When I am in a bad flare, sometimes all I can keep down is liquids and baby food. These are so gentle on my stomach, and leave me feeling truly nourished, unlike so many of the mainstream baby foods that are clearly low quality meat or very sugar laden. I try to make my own soups and liquids from a Paleo mindset, but sometimes when you're really sick, you don't have the energy to even put something in the blender. These are amazing for those times and will be a staple in my arsenal from now on.

Not just for kids. A great snack for long drives.

Our daughter buys these for her toddler (1-1/2 years old). I do a lot of long distance driving and thought that these would be a convenient way to have a snack or even a small meal. I have just spent six days behind the wheel on a road trip and they worked out great! A good mixture of protein (beef, turkey, chicken) and veggies, especially the combinations. They are easy and safe to use while driving, have good flavor, are more filling than I thought they would be, and are certainly healthier than the snacks that are usually available on the road.

One Satisfied Mom and Baby

Early on when on the hunt for baby food, this was one of the few brands where not only can I pronounce all of its organic ingredients, but the proteins were all pasture raised, wild caught and grass fed. So the true test was the taste test, SHE LOVED IT! Ate the whole thing in a matter of minutes. I use these when I’m out or on the run and I love it because I know she’s getting adequate nutrition with the best ingredients.

Hear Me Out!

Okay, all moms, you've got to hear me out on this one!
The first time my kiddo tried this he hated the flavor! I mentioned it in my IG stories and the company themselves sent me tips and tricks on how to serve these meats.
The problem was, my baby had never had baby meat before, just fruits and veggies. Please understand that the thickness is a little thicker, but still creamy enough for even new eaters. We tried different recipes and ideas and now my son love them and gets his proteins.
I am SUPER impressed with this company and their willingness to help and offer advice and ideas. Their products are HIGH quality and made of only the best ingredients which makes this mama very happy!
