De FLOAT X2 is 's werelds eerste single-tube schokdemper met 4-voudige afstelling, waarmee de ingaande high- en lowspeed demping en de uitgaande high- en lowspeed demping onafhankelijk van elkaar kunnen worden afgesteld. FOX is de technologische uitdaging aangegaan door een drukgebalanceerde architectuur te integreren, die zorgt voor een verhoogde gevoeligheid met behoud van uitstekende ondersteuning.

Het extra grote luchtvolume, gecombineerd met een nieuw gewrichtssysteem met lage wrijving, zorgt voor een meer lineair, aan de grond gekleefd gevoel zonder de motor te verzwaren.
