Het huis Billecart-Salmon biedt een assortiment elegante en edele champagnes, wat de doorbraak betekende in de Franse en internationale gastronomie. Opgericht in 1818 door Nicolas François Billecart en Elisabeth Salmon, is het motto altijd hetzelfde geweest. Met de focus op kwaliteit en streven naar uitmuntendheid, produceert dit huis hun Champagnes met veel elegantie. Vandaag de dag staat de zevende generatie in de vorm van Francois Roland Billecart aan het roer. De druiven zijn afkomstig van veertig verschillende cru-locaties in Champagne op een oppervlakte van ongeveer 220 hectare. De Brut Sous Bois is een zuiver wijn met een fonkelende gele kleur met gouden details. In de glas dansen de belletjes waarbij je direct geniet van de intense en complexe geur. Dankzij de vinificatie op hout heeft het een rijke geur met gedroogde vruchten, verse citrus, witte vruchten en verleidelijke nuances van roomboter. Op de tong vloeit de complexiteit en is de champagne mondvullend met een zachte structuur. Heerlijk romig met levendige frisheid. Ook in de smaak profiteert de wijn van de houtlagering. Good flavor

Good flavor. I quit drinking Metamucil in the past because I didn't like the orange. I was reluctant to try a different flavor but after reading many positive comments about this one I decided to try it. I was not disappointed. Thank you to all who left positive comments about the Berry flavor.

Great Product, Works as Advertised

This product works exactly as described. It makes BM's smoother and gentler. I personally use the unflavored, no sweeteners added version, and honestly, it does not taste very good, but I feel that the results are worth it, and I do not like adding extra sweeteners or flavorings to my diet. I have used this product for many years and have found that about 1 1/2 to 2 tbsps in 12 ounces of water works the best for me. You will need to experiment a bit to find the ratio that works best for you. I recommend that you start on the low side and gradually increase the amount of Metamucil as needed.

Healthy, Effective, and great when mixed with Splenda and Koolaid mix. The best of many options I've tried.
Flavor Name: Unflavored, Size: 1.46 Pound (Pack of 1)
I've sampled a few different varieties of fiber supplements, including both Benefiber and off-brands, and I found that Metamucil provided the most fiber in the least offensive beverage. Compared to the other brands, this stuff is smoother textured, and goes down easier, as a sort of happy medium between the grittier supplements and the thicker ones.
What about effectiveness? I have apocalyptic IBS, and since starting to take this stuff regularly (one giant glass every morning and evening), my BMs have been much more regular, and more manageable. Flare-ups happen less, and it even seems to do a decent job when taken with meals of cutting the hit to my stomach and gut. I tend to take more than the recommended amount, with an even larger serving of water, as I feel like it helps me stay hydrated and full throughout the day.
I started taking the classic orange Metamucil, but although I really liked the superior flavor (rather like Orange Tang) it packed several times more sugar in each serving than fiber, so while it was great for digestive health, the overall health impact was too negative. I also sampled the sugar-free berry flavors, but found that, although it was ostensibly healthier, the flavor wasn't great, and in addition it suffered from the aspartame aftertaste and further effects (Aspartame gives me headaches). So this was a dilemma for me. What to do? I actually wrote to Metamucil about it, and they recommended this product. The downside is that it comes with absolutely no flavor, so you need to provide your own in order to mask the texture (I wouldn't dream of trying to mix this in plain water--yuck!) The upside is they pack 100+ servings into a container, and you really are free to blend it into whatever suits your fancy. Obviously if you mix it with something like orange juice, then you're already negating the benefits of this stuff over the sugary orange flavor, but I've personally found a much better way.
I like to mix this stuff with Kool-aid mix and Splenda (Sucralose) sweetener. I buy a ton of Splenda and kool-aid as it mixes up tasting sweet, like sugar, but without the calories or aftertaste. You can dump a spoonful of this stuff into a glass of splenda-koolaid, or just dump 8 servings worth of this stuff in with a packet of koolaid powder and a cup of splenda, and then just mix it up and spoon it into water as needed. Better tasting, sugar-free and packed with good useful fiber.
EDIT: I wish I could subscribe to this stuff. Price of splenda has gone up, but I've figured out thatyou can just dump 7 packets of koolaid mix and 7 dashes of sucralose into a container of this and shake it up.

I like the lack of sweeteners and flavor. I just want the stuff that helps me poop. There is some citric acid in it (no idea why) which gives it a mildly acidic taste. Other than that, it does the trick.
