De officiële vlag van de gemeente Stichtse Vecht is een kleurrijke en herkenbare vlag, bestaande uit een combinatie van symbolen en kleuren die verwijzen naar de rijke geschiedenis en geografie van de regio. De rode Andreaskruisen op een wit vlak aan de linkerkant doen denken aan het wapen van Maarssen, terwijl de blauwe golvende baan over het gele veld de Vecht symboliseert.

Symboliek en achtergrond

De vlag bestaat uit drie duidelijke elementen: een wit kruis op rood, een gele achtergrond en een blauwe golvende band. Het witte kruis met rode vlakken refereert aan de christelijke wortels van de regio en aan historische elementen van voormalige gemeenten. De golvende blauwe lijn staat voor de rivier de Vecht, die een centrale rol speelt in de identiteit van de gemeente.

The latch is hard to secure but otherwise a decent purse
It is decently made and a with a luxurious design. It is a stiff purse so it will hold shape. There is enough room for a large phone and a few other items as well. The gold is a dark gold. I got this because I have some sandals in this color that I needed a purse to match. My only issue is that the latch on the string has a hard time inserting into the tube. On the positive side of that, it is extremely secure because of it. However, it is a struggle. I'm not sure if it's just this one purse or this color due to the material interfering or what.
