The Mini Maton Diesel Model can be purchased in 6 and 12 string configurations.
One of the most visually stunning furniture timbers available, Blackwood has also become an important tonewood. Most of the Blackwood comes from the Otway Ranges in Victoria, Australia. It often displays "fiddleback" character and "AAA" grade Blackwood can be intensely figured. It has a warm, full tone with a particularly pleasing mid frequency response and has become one of the most sought after timbers. It may be of interest to learn, that whenever a Maton employee gets to make their own guitar, they almost always choose Blackwood.
This Pre-Owned 2014 Maton EMD6 is in Great condition with very minimal to no play wear or fretwear. It does have 2 small dings in the top as well as the matte finish has turned gloss from play wear. We have attempted to capture this in the detailed photos below.
