1940年代の蘭の花のイヤリング。蘭に僅かに赤みを帯びたブラウンのルーサイトと、本物のパールがあしらわれたクラシカルで美しいデザインです。身に纏えば、横顔に気品を添えてくれる素敵なお品。

【STAR(スター)とは】
シカゴを拠点とし、1922年にコスチュームジュエリーの製造を開始。1940年までは"STAR"と刻印していましたが、1940年代のGabrielle Chanelとの裁判以降、社名をStaretに変更。1940年代のVogueの広告は、高品質のクリスタルを使用してルビー、エメラルド、サファイアなどの宝石を模倣したSTARの作品を"Costume Brilliants"と呼びました。また同社は、花や植物をモチーフとしたデザインのジュエリーも多く残しています。1995年に閉業。
