Texas Ebony Block TE-553 1.75" x 1.75" x 8"Texas Ebony Block TE 553 1. 75" x 1. 75" x 8" 1. 1375 lbs. This is a beautiful piece of Texas Ebony heartwood. We've cut it into spindles of 1 3 4" across and 8" long. The grain on this piece is long and straight, with swirls around small and infrequent burl buds. There is a small amount of creamy beige sapwood along the front face of the block. We have air dried this Texas Ebony log for 5+ years. Moisture content is 10 12%. Janka hardness is 2820

Texas Ebony Block TE-553 1.75" x 1.75" x 8" 1.1375 lbs. This is a beautiful piece of Texas Ebony heartwood. We've cut it into spindles of 1 3/4" across and 8" long. The grain on this piece is long and straight, with swirls around small and infrequent burl buds. There is a small amount of creamy beige sapwood along the front face of the block. We have air-dried this Texas Ebony log for 5+ years. Moisture content is 10-12%. Janka hardness is 2820 lbf. Density is 80 lb/ft3. This wood is very dense and hard, one of the hardest available in North America. The finished products are exquisite. This block has some very minor end-grain checking (see close-up photo). |

Not a good buy
Straight up, this thing is horrible. Doesn’t hold on to anything; especially if you add your phone, it just drops, damaging your screen. Don’t buy. Had no grip whatsoever or adjustability.
