Coste Rousse is located in the village of Malagas, in the heart of the Cotes de Thongue in the Languedoc. The Taix family produce a selection of white and red wines from 11 different varieties, grown to organic principles.
This delightful orange has an aromatic nose of orange blossom, honeysuckle, dried herb (thyme and rosemary) and peach skin. The palate has fresh, powdery tannins with bright acidity, with chamomile tea, white flower and peach juice dominating the palate, with a touch of pink grapefruit bitterness.
The grapes were destemmed and sorted, followed by a short maceration of 12 days under controlled temperatures, with short pumping over several times a day for a gentle extraction. Vinified, aged and bottled unfiltered and unfined without the addition of sulphites.
