This Fender Custom Shop '62 Stratocaster begins with an ash body paired with a 5/4 quarter sawn maple neck in a '60 Style Oval "C" profile. The 9MM AAA rosewood fingerboard features twenty one frets with 6105 Sanko fret wire. This Custom Shop is fashioned with a Fender Custom Shop Heavy Relic finish treatment that shows across the body, neck, and fingerboard. This finish treatment shows checking and dings across the body while showing off the natural beauty of the woods. Three '60 Strat Relic single-coil pickups produce the crystalline cleans and hearty snaps associated with the iconic instrument. The middle pickup is wound for reverse polarity. This Custom Shop Stratocaster brings out the best in Fender's careful eye for tasteful wear and discerning ear for tonality.
