This coupler is constructed with 4-ply silicone and heat resistant embedded fibers to provide optimal heat and pressure tolerance. The 6061 aluminum 1/8" NPT bung is precisely molded into the structure of the silicone providing a durable, leak free connection. This coupler provides simplicity to the addition of an NPT bung for your intercooler setup with no welding necessary. The Mishimoto 1/8" NPT silicone coupler is available in 2.5" or 3" and your choice of black, blue or red. As with all our products this coupler includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

A little longer than the filter the mechanic used last time, and that is a good thing.
At first I was concerned that this filter is about 3/16" longer than whatever one was there before, but it went in perfectly, and I realized I was getting extra filtering ability over the old one. Pleased. Volvo S60 2001.

Almost a Five Star
I have used this brand exclusively on my BMW (110K) and Volvo (90K), with synthetic oil changes at 6000 miles religiously, and neither burns a single drop of oil. I have never seen any "failure" of the filter, which remains firm until the end. Unfortunately the price advantage has been eroding over the years- boo. So lost a star for that-
