When fitting as inlays, leave a small amount of the inlay protruding above the surface and then sand flush for a flawless finish.
Shell inlays measure 1.3mm in thickness. Celluloid inlays are 1.5-2mm thick, CAB are 2mm, and acrylic dots are 2mm thick.

Good quality, if you keep them oiled last a long time
If you keep these oiled and do not soak them, these boards last a long time. Good variety of sizes, durable (I use the larger 2 daily), and again, if you keep them oiled, easy to wipe down and haven't shown a sign of splitting. Durable as well. Would buy again.
