Inspiration:

This artwork shows our home town and the friends I’ve made along the way and pathways that link us together. The pathway symbolizes the journey and paths we have walked together growing up in Jeffreys bay, but also the paths we yet need to travel on. This artwork is me reflecting on memories of hanging with friends and walking around Jbay,  almost always ending on the beach. It also reflects my hope of the future and of paths we have yet to share.

Artist Bio:

Miah Kruger is a high school student in Jeffreys bay with a passion for art. Enjoys pencil as a medium, but is still on a journey to explore other mediums. Her art is inspired by what is dear to her heart for example, Relationships, Faith, Nature an Adventures she’s been on. Currently she uses pencil and trying out different techniques to bring more depth and emotion into her work. She focuses on themes such as friendship, identity, faith and adventures. Through her art she hopes to remind others of the beauty in life and memories and the paths that link us together.

Reliable Spray for Hard-to-Reach Spots and Reapplication

I picked up this spray specifically to cover the spots I can’t reach with lotion (my back), and it’s been super handy. The spray applies evenly, and while it has a familiar sunscreen scent, it fades quickly. I’ve worked it into my routine for touch-ups, especially on homeward-bound afternoon bike commutes. I keep the can in my bike bag and give everything a quick respray before heading home. It holds up well during activity and gives me solid protection for about two hours, after which I reapply. One thing to note: it does leave a bit of a shiny finish, which is fine for arms and legs, but I skip it on my face during the day because I don’t love the reflective look. That said, if it’s late or I’m not worried about how shiny my face is, it does the job. The SPF 100 is a plus for extended sun exposure, and I like knowing that I’ve got extra coverage when I need it.
