Joan Shelley - Like The River Loves The SeaMuch of this album was recorded in Iceland. Breath warm from singing rises into frozen air. Atomized. A million bright blue crystals the fractal branching of the lungs drift back to earth. Radiant, refracting. Clear notes melt like perfect soft snow. Straight lines curve and curve again. Much of this album was recorded in Iceland, but Joan Shelley wrote these songs in Kentucky. That's the dirt clinging to their roots. The wind blowing through Osage

Much of this album was recorded in Iceland. Breath warm from singing rises into frozen air. Atomized. A million bright blue crystals - the fractal branching of the lungs - drift back to earth. Radiant, refracting. Clear notes melt like perfect soft snow. Straight lines curve and curve again. Much of this album was recorded in Iceland, but Joan Shelley wrote these songs in Kentucky. That's the dirt clinging to their roots. The wind blowing through Osage orange and pine trees is the joy and ache and urgency of these songs. It's the silence and the music. It's the space between time and words and the stillness in Joan's voice. The world spins more slowly. Moss overtakes a fallen tree. Kentucky is where we plant seeds of regret and stay to watch them flower. Maybe Mark Twain said that Kentucky (always five years behind the times) was the perfect place to ride out the apocalypse. Maybe it's twenty years. Maybe it's apocryphal. That doesn't mean it isn't true. "And oh, Kentucky Stays in my mind it's sweet to be five years behind That's where I'll be When the seas rise Holding my dear friends and drinking wine..." Maybe the world outside has already vaporized. Maybe we're already living on borrowed time. Nathan Salsburg's guitar pours out clean as water through his fingers, turning over every smooth stone. Bonnie "Prince" Billy's harmonies stretch time tight enough to break without breaking. Joan's voice calls us back. Birds are singing outside. Insistent. Don't miss what's right in front of you. Joan Shelley's new record: Like The River Loves The Sea. Produced by Sir James Elkington and Joan Shelley

Pleasantly Surprised
Size: 10P -9×13 In w/ lid, Color: Silver, Size: 10P -9×13 In w/ lid, Color: Silver
Reviews for this product were varied, but I decided to give it a go. A wise choice. These arrived on time, in a plastic bag, in a box, inside a sturdier box…in perfect condition. They are very sturdy compared to most I’ve seen. I used them in preparing a meal for a family who lost a loved one. If they easily accommodate 5 lbs of potato salad, I’d say they’re sturdy. I also used them for sliders, and a couple of fruit trays.

Fantastic
Size: 20P -8 × 8 In w/ lid, Color: Silver
I bought these while making a small army of casseroles and freezer meals for family memberhaving surgery. They survived being filled, carried, stacked, transported, and generally treated far less gently than they probably should have. The lids fit well and were worth their weight in gold. Not having to battle aluminum foil every time I needed to cover a dish was a welcome bonus. The lids stayed put. The pans were sturdy, traveled well, and were the best price I found for covered 8x8 disposable pans. Sometimes the boring kitchen supplies end up being the most satisfying purchases, and this was one of them. I'd definitely buy these again.

Better quality
Size: 10P -9×13 In, Color: Silver
Better quality than the grocery store pans. Did not collapse as easy as the thin made store brought pans

The size advertised is not accurate
Size: 10P -9×13 In w/ lid, Color: Silver, Size: 10P -9×13 In w/ lid, Color: Silver
This pan is not 9x13!! It’s sturdy and holds up when baking cakes, but the post size is not accurate. In my picture the pan on top is this one and the pan on bottom is a 9 x 13 pan

Sturdy & worth it
These plates are super sturdy and reliable! I’ve used them for parties and everyday meals, and they hold up really well—even with heavier or messy food. They don’t get soggy or bend easily, which is a huge plus. Makes cleanup so much easier without worrying about spills. Definitely a go-to for gatherings or busy days!
