About the winery:
Pascal Doquet is a small but well-regarded Champagne house based in Blancs-Coteaux, just south of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs subregion, well-known for its Chardonnay-based Champagne production. Doquet makes a range of organic, minimal-intervention wines, often from individual vineyard sites in the area.
The eponymous winery was established in 2004 after Doquet's parents retired. Prior to that, Doquet had been winemaker at his parent's estate, Doquet-Jeanmaire, since the mid-1980s.
On the retirement of their parents, the family holdings were divided between the siblings with Doquet and one sister, Laure, combining their share to estabilsh the core holdings of the company. The core of the holdings comprise a total of over eight hectares (20 acres) of vineyard around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Vertus and Bergers.
