The Fender Gold Foil Collection Jazz bass is equipped with a gold foil single-coil pickup. It is warm, wide, articulate, and certainly a visual compliment to this glossy 2-color sunburst. The pickup is wired to a master volume and master tone that have aged white “witch hat” knobs that match the vintage vibes perfectly. Maple ‘60s “C” shaped necks with ebony fingerboard span across the whole collection. This J-Bass board has a 9.5” radius, and white pearloid dot inlays. A 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with steel saddles, 3-ply parchment pickguard, and matching painted headcap round out this tribute to guitars and basses of the initial “Gold Foil Era” nicely.
