About the Artist: Emmeric Konrad (1964-2022) Born in Michigan in 1964, Konrad spent four years in the marines before earning a BFA at Otis/Parsons in NYC. His paintings are described as "humorously manic expressions of innocently troubled characters interacting and willfully acting out." He expresses his personal fantasies with street art, Disney imagery, and a raw sexual energy. Known as one of the original "bad boys" of the Downtown Los Angeles art scene, Konrad passed away in 2022.
