This traditional technique 'Gua sha' has been used for centuries in various cultures for its potential benefits. While it's important to note that the benefits can vary from person to person, many individuals have reported experiencing the following effects:

Bian Stone 

This stone were generated in the cretaceous period and has been used as healing stones for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The stone contains more than thirty trace elements within the stone such as ( Sr, Ti, Cr, Mn, Zn, Ca, Fe, P, K, Na, etc.). Elements of which are beneficial & necessary for human beings. The stone is said to dredge the bodies channels, improve microcirculation ( insuring good oxygen & nutrient supply get to various organs and body tissues), eliminate excess heat and help remove unnecessary fat. Lastly, because of its material being a stone, it is excellent for both grounding and boosting your intuition through enhancing your mental focus, clarity, and increasing overall brain function. 

How to use your stone

Gua Sha is performed at a 15-45 degree angle between one of the stones edges and your skin, in one direction, and in even strokes. ALWAYS remember to apply an oil to your skin before beginning your massage. 

    How to care for your stone

    After each use rinse with warm water and gentle soap, followed by placing the stone back into its protective sleeve. 

    Please be advised that your stone is fragile and may may become oily or slippery when using/ cleaning causing it to break if dropped. For this reason we recommend placing a towel or blanket below you before beginning your gua sha routine to minimize breakages.

    **update: we have had this toy for over a year! I have found one other con. Once chewed if you step on it you will immediately drop to the floor in agonizing all encompassing pain or (my personal favorite) say every dirty curse word you have ever heard while clutching your destroyed instep. BUT even though this chewed bone is the demon child of a LEGO and a race car to step on my dogs still love it, still chew it and we haven’t had to replace it yet! I have an insane chewer where toys usually last us less than 24 hours. It has become almost impossible for us to keep up with toys because of how expensive it has become. This toy is not only insanely durable but she has not left it alone for the 3 days we’ve had it. I was concerned that being “chicken flavored” would mean stinky or sticky and I was very pleasantly surprised that it was neither! It doesn’t leave a stain once chewed, it doesn’t smell, and it doesn’t have a weird coating on it. The only con so far is that due to it being so durable and hard it makes a loud noise when dropped on the tile or hardwood which made her nervous toward it at first but now that she’s started working on it she could care less about the noise. Super happy with this purchase and will 100% buy more in various sizes for our other pups.

    My dog loved it right away. Kept going from his old bone to this one and finally just stuck with this one. My dog is a 90 pound 1.5 year old German Shepherd. The size is fine. I don’t know what the other people were talking about when they said the large was too small for big dogs. It’s not indestructible, after one day there were serious gouges on it, but it looks like it’s going to last quite awhile. I will say, he’s not able to gnaw off little pieces of it, and that’s a great thing. I couldn’t give it five stars, because we just received it, and the dog has only had it for a few days. So it’s 4 stars. ****UPDATE**** As of Jan. 1, 2021, the bone is in the trash. The thing seemed to get softer and come apart more easily the more he chewed. I was finding little pieces all over and god only knows much of it he swallowed. Now I give it 3 stars.

    Yes it's for aggressive chewers

    I have 2 dogs a malti poo and 120 lb pit rotty mix. My son just moved in with his 8 month old pitty/ 90 lbs. needless to say we have purchased sooo many bones and toys, always have to have bones for them all or they argue and fight. This bone we have had for about 8 -9 days.. They all chew on it non stop and it is still fully intact with a few rough areas where they chewed up the suface. The picture was taken today. But keep in mind they will typically go through a large elk antler ($40) in about 4-5 days.. down to splinters. but not this bone. I got the beef. It does have a slight smell, kind of beefy but no worse than some other bones we bought. Only noticed it taking it out of the package. They all enjoy it. I was worried they wouldn't be interested because it's fake.. but no. I will definitely purchase a few more cuz when someone isn't home the pitty will chew shoes or remotes, etc. Every day was a new surprise. But he hasn't touched anything since we got this bone. I would definitely recommend for aggressive chewers and the price is reasonable.
