SoftSwim B (1/2 gal)BioGuard SoftSwim B is the sanitizer that contains biguanide and is step 2 in the SoftSwim program. This step kills and controls harmful bacteria and is gentle on eyes, hair and skin. SoftSwim B is UV Shielded and is resistant to evaporating in the sun. The SoftSwim program is ideal for in ground or above ground swimming pools containing less than 25,000 gallons of water, pools that have bottom drains and swimming pools that have excellent circulation

BioGuard SoftSwim B is the sanitizer that contains biguanide and is step 2 in the SoftSwim program. This step kills and controls harmful bacteria and is gentle on eyes, hair and skin. SoftSwim B is UV-Shielded and is resistant to evaporating in the sun. The SoftSwim program is ideal for in-ground or above-ground swimming pools containing less than 25,000 gallons of water, pools that have bottom drains and swimming pools that have excellent circulation with the pump operating at least 12 hours per day.

Product Dosage:

Start Up: 1/2 gallon per 10,000 gallons of water until 50ppm is reached

Routine Maintenance: 1 pt per 10,000 gallons of water to raise level by 10ppm

Directions:

Freshly filled and Dechlorinated Swimming Pools - Start Up with SoftSwim B:

1. If the swimming pool contains algae or is hazy consult your local BioGuard dealer. They will help you rid your swimming pool of algae. You may need to use Chlorine to kill the algae, then transition back to your SoftSwim routine.

2. Backwash or clean your swimming pool filter. Check your pH: adjust to 7.2-7.8 if necessary

3. Add SoftSwim B to give a content of 50ppm (1/2 gallon for every 10,000 gallons)

4. After 24 hours, re-check your pH and SoftSwim concentration with a test kit and adjust as necessary

Routine Maintenance:

1. Every week, check SoftSwim B and pH

2. Maintain SoftSwim B at about 50ppm.
