On one side, Browne's Ethane Dual Overdrive features their Carbon V2 overdrive, harking back to the all-important transparent overdrives championed by players like John Mayer on his album Continuum with its touch responsiveness and superb, shining clarity. Browne graced us with their own spin on the classic overdrive with a three-way switch that shapes the high-end of the signal for added customization.
On its other side, the Ethane loads in a Browne Amplification Gritador overdrive. The Gritador, a staple to anyone fond of classic "green" or "screaming"-style overdrives, clocks in with a solid low-end body and an asymmetrical clipping section for a lively overdriven kick to emulate, well, pretty much every punk or rock record ever.
