Three Carats. G Color. VS2. The Emerald Cut's Architectural Elegance. Certified.

The emerald cut is the most sophisticated diamond shape in fine jewelry — its large, open table and step-cut facets create a hall-of-mirrors effect that is entirely distinct from the scattered brilliance of any brilliant cut. At 3.03 carats of G color and VS2 clarity, independently certified by the International Gemological Institute, this stone delivers the emerald cut's signature depth and architectural presence in a near-colorless, eye-clean quality combination at an accessible price point. This is the emerald cut for the buyer who wants the shape's full elegance with strong quality grades and genuine value.

The Specifications

  • Carat Weight: 3.03 Carats
  • Shape: Emerald Cut — Rectangular step-cut with cropped corners; long, glassy facets create a hall-of-mirrors effect and a depth of brilliance that is entirely distinct from any brilliant cut
  • Color: G — Near-colorless; G color in an emerald cut appears white and brilliant to the naked eye in virtually all settings and lighting conditions — a strong color choice for a step-cut shape
  • Clarity: VS2 — Very Slightly Included, second degree; inclusions not visible to the naked eye in typical viewing conditions; see our transparent note below for emerald cut-specific clarity considerations
  • Certification: IGI Certified — International Gemological Institute; independent third-party verification of G color, VS2 clarity, emerald cut, and 3.03 carat weight
  • Origin: Lab-Grown — Physically, chemically, and optically identical to a mined diamond; conflict-free and ethically sourced

A Transparent Note on VS2 Clarity in an Emerald Cut

The emerald cut's open table and step-cut facets make it the most transparent of all diamond shapes — inclusions can be more apparent in an emerald cut than in a brilliant cut of the same clarity grade. VS2 inclusions are not visible to the naked eye in typical viewing conditions, but we recommend reviewing this stone's IGI certificate carefully and contacting us to discuss the specific nature and position of any inclusions before purchase. G color is a strong choice for this shape — appearing white and brilliant in virtually all conditions. We are fully transparent about every stone we sell and will answer every question honestly.

G Color and VS2: Value Without Compromise on Appearance

G/VS2 is a quality combination that delivers strong visual performance at a price that reflects genuine value. G color appears near-colorless to the naked eye in the emerald cut in virtually all settings and lighting conditions. VS2 clarity is eye-clean in typical viewing conditions, and the IGI certificate provides independent confirmation of the stone's specific inclusion characteristics. For the buyer who wants the emerald cut's extraordinary presence at an accessible price point, G/VS2 is the intelligent choice.

The Emerald Cut: Architecture and Depth

The emerald cut captivates with depth, deliberateness, and a quiet authority that rewards attention. Its long, glassy step-cut facets create a hall-of-mirrors effect — a visual experience that draws the eye downward into the stone rather than outward across its surface. At 3.03 carats, the emerald cut's rectangular silhouette creates a substantial, commanding presence on the finger — a stone of genuine sophistication that is immediately recognizable as something of quality and intention.

The Paula Connection

The emerald cut is the same diamond shape featured in The Paula — our named original engagement ring set in a sleek full bezel that honors the emerald cut's clean, architectural lines. If you love the character of The Paula and are considering a custom ring around a stone of your own choosing, this 3.03 carat G/VS2 emerald cut offers the same sophisticated shape at an accessible price point. Contact us to discuss custom setting options inspired by The Paula or any other design.

IGI Certified: Complete Confidence

This diamond is certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), providing independent, third-party verification of the G color, VS2 clarity, emerald cut, and 3.03 carat weight. The certificate travels with the stone and provides permanent documentation of its specifications.

Setting Recommendations

A 3.03 carat G/VS2 emerald cut is most beautifully showcased in settings that honor its clean, architectural lines — a sleek full bezel as seen in The Paula, a simple four-prong solitaire, or a three-stone setting with tapered baguette or half-moon side stones. G color pairs beautifully with all metal tones. Contact us to discuss custom setting options.

Perfect For

  • A buyer who wants the emerald cut's architectural sophistication with strong G/VS2 quality at an accessible price
  • A custom engagement ring center stone with the shape's full elegance and genuine value
  • Anyone inspired by The Paula who wants to build a custom ring around their own emerald cut

A 3.03 carat IGI certified emerald cut at G/VS2 is an exceptional value. Contact us with any questions or to discuss custom setting options.

Good Prints for Sublimation
Model: 500N STD, Model: 500N STD
After years of using converted printers for sublimation, I finally decided to go with the Sawgrass printer, which is specifically designed for sublimation. The printer turned out to be very nice! I’m particularly happy about the Sawgrass customer service they provide. Follow-up. I ordered the SG500 printer bundle from Amazon, but unfortunately, the prints had visible grid lines. I promptly reached out to Sawgrass customer service, and after a few emails, they figured out that the printer I received was faulty. It was all resolved within a few hours, which was way faster than I had expected. They immediately sent me a replacement machine and the prints are absolutely beautiful for my sublimation projects. Sawgrass customer service is truly amazing! Over the past three months, I have been using the Sawgrass printer and have identified a shortcoming that I would like to share in my review. While the prints produced by the Sawgrass printer are satisfactory, they fall short of the quality achieved with a printer I previously used for several years. This printer required a conversion to sublimation printing. I have sent a note to Sawgrass inquiring about potential solutions to this issue a couple of months ago, but I have not yet received a response. This suggests that the company may not have a viable remedy. You be the judge. I followed Sawgrass recommendations and used the Sawgrass Print Utility, but no matter what changes I make, the converted printer seems to produce prints much more to my liking. Both of the book markers shown were sublimated at the same time. In the future, when I have an order to complete, I will be opting to use the more affordable printer that I converted.

Sawgrass quality is excellent
Model: 500N STD, Model: 500N STD
I've been on the fence with Sawgrass, simply because cost can be an issue, but this past week I decided to put the new Sawgrass to the test against another of my printers which I converted for dye sublimation. I also own the Versiflex. I was on the fence with it initially as well, but I've been using it ALOT and I now have it down to an art. I've made shirts for friends and they were literally blown away at the quality of the print, so. . . yes, it is expensive and yes, you get what you pay for. So. . . I recently received the sublijet ink with my new Sawgrass since you cannot mix inks in a Sawgrass, not even to switch the type of ink for risk of damaging the machine. I'm seriously impressed. I made lanyards, T-shirts, bags and the quality is outstanding. I don't know if I'm going to retire my Epson, but the software to print using the Sawgrass print manager is pretty slick. Lots of options to fine tune your print quality. If you have the cash, buy it. If you don't save up. It's worth it. . . and this is coming from a skeptic.
