Much more docile than their lowland cousins, mountain scapebacks are hearty beasts who are known for their great strength as well as their unwavering loyalty to their herd. This loyalty extends to any handlers they befriend and whom they allow to saddle them as mounts.

Separated from his herd as a calf, Bunji was found lost in the wastes of Thraxxon by a party of Veeblian wanderers. Keeping the calf alive, the Veeblians tried to reunite the creature with its kind, only to discover that the herd had been attacked and killed by hunters.

Knowing that the calf would not survive on its own, a Veeblian named AhgCha raised the creature, forming an unbreakable bond with the scapeback that exceeded even the natural tendencies of these affable beasts.
