Extending out from this ash body, this StingRay Special features a "C"-shaped roasted maple neck treated to a gunstock oil and special wax finish, making it play without a hitch across its full length. Assembled with a five-bolt sculpted joint, this neck is sturdy and reliable. The roasted maple of this neck matches with an ebony fingerboard bearing twenty-two stainless steel frets. Connecting with a solid yet fluid fretting experience, the StingRay Special is primed for fast maneuvers from lower to higher registers for dynamic and expressive playability.
