Discover the transformative power of Eric Fromm's groundbreaking work, "To Have or To Be?" This thought-provoking book serves as a manifesto for a new social and psychological revolution, essential for those seeking to understand the deeper meaning of existence. With its compelling exploration of two contrasting modes of being—the 'having' mode, driven by materialism, power, and aggression, versus the 'being' mode, founded on love, shared joy, and productive activity—Fromm delves into the core of human experience. The insights within these pages challenge the conventional values of modern society, making it a must-read for anyone interested in personal development, psychology, and social change. By advocating for a shift from greed, envy, and violence towards compassion and community, this book offers a brilliant roadmap for socioeconomic change. Written in 2013 and published by Bloomsbury, this trade paperback edition is in BRAND NEW condition, with an ISBN of 9781780936802. Whether you're a student of philosophy, a lover of psychology, or simply someone seeking to bring more meaning into your life, "To Have or To Be?" promises to enlighten and inspire. Untold Historical Legend!
Format: Paperback
This book tells the story of one of the greatest American heroes, Robert F. Williams. Robert F. Williams life and acts of heroism should be taught in every school and his name should be as well known as the names of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. This book details the life of Williams and the tragic events that led to him becoming an activist during the Civil Rights Movement. It’s a short book and is less than 100 pages long. It’s a quick read and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about American history and one of America’s greatest hero who has been erased from history books until now.
