The Boeing 727 trijet, designed for smaller airports and shorter runways than the 707 jetliner, had a distinctive T-tail with three rear-mounted engines. Boeing built more than 1,830 of the jets in several configurations. This artifact is a pressure altimeter from a 727 instrument panel. The altimeter indicates the airplane's altitude. A pressure altimeter uses barometric pressure to gauge altitude; barometric pressure is lower at high altitudes. This piece has been refinished by hand and set in a bracket and base made from hand-polished aircraft-grade aluminum. A Boeing Custom Hangar plaque is attached to bottom of the base. Certificate of Authenticity included. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from photograph. Measures approximately 8"L x 7"W x 8"H. Versatile!
Color: Grey, Size: 8 Panel-176'' Wide
Screen is more flexible than photo but folding it flat is challenging because of the supporting feet. I like the length of the screen; it divides a room in two, providing privacy and a walkway to back door. The screen can also be wrapped around the foot and one side of a queen size bed for privacy.
