Its simplicity was intentional. The design prioritized function over symbolism and avoided national iconography or decorative elements.
This hoodie uses a faithful all-over interpretation of the Strichtarn pattern, scaled to read cleanly on a modern garment. From a distance it appears as subtle texture. Up close, the vertical striping becomes clearly defined, preserving the character of the original pattern without turning it into a novelty print.
The garment itself is made in North America from a midweight cotton blend with added stretch for comfort and durability. The fabric has enough body to hold its shape while remaining breathable and comfortable for everyday wear.
