SPORTMIX® Wholesomes™ Large Breed Chicken Meal & Rice Formula may be fed dry or moistened according to your dog’s preference. If moist food is preferred, mix 4 parts SPORTMIX® Wholesomes™ Large Breed Chicken Meal & Rice with 1 part water, milk or broth. Use the chart as a guide. One feeding per day is acceptable, however, we recommend splitting the daily recommended food into two meals. Lactating dogs require 2 to 3 times as much food as adult dogs. Remember, these amounts are averages and will vary depending upon the breed, size and age of your dog. Switching from your current food to any new food should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days, increasing the new food each day while reducing the old food. This transition will help reduce any digestive upset that might occur due to change in diet. Have clean, fresh water available at all times. For your pet’s best health, see your veterinarian regularly. SPORTMIX® Wholesomes™ Large Breed Chicken Meal and Rice Formula Food for Dogs is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance.
