The FV103 Sparta is a member of the CVR (T) light armored vehicle family developed by Britain during the Cold War, initially designed for reconnaissance and battlefield support purposes
Origin of the Cold War: Born during the Cold War era, it focuses on compact, high-speed, and highly maneuverable vehicles, capable of transporting small teams and equipment, and accompanying reconnaissance units for rapid mobile deployment.
After the end of the Cold War, some CVR (T) vehicles were handed over to Ukraine and other allies, and were put into practice again in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Ukraine has modernized and upgraded it, installing reinforced weapons such as. 50 caliber heavy machine guns and battlefield modifications to adapt to modern battlefield environments, making it a practical equipment for frontline support and troop delivery.
