By utilising our proven Carbo Nylon-Reinforced composite material, we've reduced the weight by 21% compared to the previous stainless steel version. Despite the weight savings, it features larger-diameter, wider Harken Fly sheaves equipped with stainless bearings running in stainless racings. This translates to vastly reduced friction, smoother adjustments, and the mechanical advantage you need when the breeze is on.
The sleek, aero-friendly design ensures the unit sits cleanly at the mast base without fouling your cunningham or outhaul controls. We’ve also upgraded the crucial last turn before the micro Cammatic cleat, replacing the traditional fairlead with a lightweight stainless ferrule for a durable, friction-free pull and release.
Built with customisation in mind, the default cleating angle matches our existing standard, but we've included an optional wedge for sailors who want to fine-tune their setup. Furthermore, the design anticipates the need for a cleaner deck; the system easily converts from a 15:1 down to a 12:1 purchase, allowing you to reduce the amount of line in your cockpit whenever desired.
