Challenge Baby Limus Pro - Handmade TLRThe Baby Limus is Challenge's all around cyclocross tire designed for races with constantly changing conditions. This tire is ready to take on wet sand, sticky mud or dry, fast courses. This handmade PRO version combines a supple Super Polyester casing with our standard Smart Compound. This Challenge TLR model is hookless rim compatible, and is designed to be compliant with UCI tire width rules with most rims having an internal rim width up to 23mm.

CONSTRUCTION: Handmade
Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires can't match. Our handmade tires are assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople. High quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester. The result is a small-batch tire with a ride feel that is simply on a different level.
SERIES: PRO
Everyday Luxury – Our workhorse handmade tire is the PRO series, delivering performance and ride feel unmatched by traditional vulcanized tires. Perfect for the rigors of daily riding.
CASING: Super Polyester 300TPI
Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220-300tpi make up our most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger then nylon, is impervious to water and quite durable.
COMPOUND: SMART
Our standard rubber compound, SMART is the perfect balance of durability and performance. Our handmade construction ensures that our tread compounds are never hardened or heated by the vulcanization process.
PUNCTURE PROTECTION: PPS
Our Puncture Protection System (PPS) is a tough, tightly-woven fabric placed between the tread and casing to increase puncture resistance.
