Discovering Bologna little by little, Jacopo Benassi took pictures, like a sort of notebook, of the faces of the most interesting people he met during his time there. After a few months he already had a large portfolio of people which, like in a mosaic, built a bigger portrait of the whole city today. Bologna is probably the best-kept secret of the Italian cities with a great past. Large-scale tourism has never affected it, but in recent years it has been discovered by a growing group of sophisticated travellers passionate about art, culture, cinema and food. The portraits are a mix of young artists, writers, minor and great musicians, leading businessmen, famous bar tenders, tailors, professors at the local university (the oldest in the Western world), personalities and international artists such as Nino Migliori and Luigi Ontani. All of them born or living in Bologna. The whole book is a study of real faces that are able to be meaningful and to tell a story, and recall a tradition like the study of faces by Pier Paolo Pasolini in some of his films, or Andy Warhol's Screen Tests. But at the same time, they recall a masterpiece like Un Paese, the book produced by Paul Strand and Cesare Zavattini. The book includes a text by art critic Antonio Grulli.

The instructions to assemble this bar cart needs to be improved. The schematic drawings are not easy to follow. It would make sense to have some written instructions along with the pictures. All the pieces were very well labeled which was a plus. The good news is once the item was put together look just like it is described.

Nice to have

This cart is nice for party. It is easy to assemble and use for multi-purposes. The best part is it has wheel and makes it so easy to move the cart around and hall things in/out for part or gathering. The 3 tiers make space for can carry a lot of items in the cart all at once. The quality is very good. Is just a very useful cart to have in the house.

Works great, rolls well. Well put together, pieces fit, not lopsided, does not feel like it will shake apart in a second. Fits all the laundry detergent bottles I need, although I don’t use the jumbo sizes.
It is antique white, looks a bit distressed; while I like it, it may not fit everyone’s decor so take a good look at the picture.

Put this cart together a few days ago. It took me, alone, about an hour. I’d say this cart is extremely well made!! Good to follow the instructions. Made assembly very easy. The frame and wheels are very stable and rolls very smoothly. Holds a fair amount of my bathroom products. I did consciously not attempt to make the cart hold more than it should although it’s very strong. It fits perfectly in the space between vanity and wall. I was going to put a piece of marble on the stained wood top but the finish is nice enough that I decided to appreciate the warm wood finish. Definitely recommend this item!!
