The wine is made from a majority of Madeleine Angevine for aromatics, Reichensteiner for acidity, Schönburger for perfume, with Triomphe d'Alsace, Rondo and Cabernet Noir for colour, with small amounts of 15 other grapes included. It pours a gloriously glowing marmalade with pure white foam. On the nose, it's a riot of tangerine jelly; on the palate, you'll get satsuma, crabapple and rhubarb with tangy kumquat and ripe mango.
