Crafted in Japan, this Baretta 1983 Reissue relives elements of the original’s early ‘80s debut in pursuit of embodying that same magic. Starting off with a maple double-cut body in a 1983 Baretta body shape, this Reissue model follows the curvature of the original Baretta so idealized for speed. An oiled maple neck in a Historic 1983 Baretta profile grips the same in hand as it did in the earliest days of thrash and speed metal. Picking up this guitar imposes true power with its unencumbered design and unfiltered simplicity. Twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets adorn a rosewood fingerboard for maximized playability and fretting for rocketing to the highest notes to plummeting to the lowest registers. An Original Floyd Rose tremolo bridge assists in those deep descents along with wild vibrato bends across the entire scale length for players seeking exciting detours in Point A to Point B in their riffage.
