Tiled floors, damp and uneven, concrete steps lead one up a flight of stairs, curiosity licks at our being, take another step, the mystery as thick as the devil's broth or as light as an angel’s breath.
A light shines from above, illuminating a once popular painting of a child crying in the shadows,
take another step into the mystery. Fear may hold us back, while the temptation compels us to take yet another step.
